Most people in the city are Bassa speakers, one of the indigenous languages of Liberia.

Comfort lives with her husband and four children between the ages of 15 and 1; three are in school. Comfort was educated to grade nine. She has been selling pepper, oil, rice, salt, etc. for the past ten years in the local market. She is requesting a loan to purchase more goods for her business. She likes her business because it helps to support her home. She hopes to one day own a house.
