A loan of $1,500 helped a member to purchase chicks and feed.

Mashava Kupfumaishungu Group's story

Greetings from Zimbabwe! This is 38 year old Molly from Masvingo. She is married with four children, two attending school. Molly runs an agriculture business selling chickens. The business has been in operation for 10 years. She says the main challenges faced are loss of chickens through theft and of debtors failing to pay on time.

Molly has requested a loan of $500 to buy stock feed and more chicks. She says the extra income generated as a result of this loan will allow her to have extra disposable income, hence improve family welfare. In the future Molly plans to open a grocery shop and a flea market.
