A loan of $1,000 helped to buy fertilizer, herbicides, pesticides and also two pigs.

Gilberto's story

Gilberto lives with his wife and their three children aged 4, 13 and 15. The entire family depends on his business. He makes a living from cultivating basic grains and raising pigs. He learned this business with his father from the time he was very young. The disadvantage he faces is that he has to pay for labor to carry out his work, as he cultivates quite a bit.

The loan that he requires will allow him to buy fertilizer, herbicides, pesticides and also to acquire two pigs. This will help him to sow his crops better and to obtain earnings with the pigs, as he sells them once they have grown.

His dream is to construct a better house to provide his family with a greater quality of life.
