Mitzy's story

Mitzy, 28, is married to Carlos who is employed and the father of her only son who is four-years-old. She lives with her husband and little boy in her own house that was the result of her efforts. Mitzy works selling various dishes like stews, roasted chicken, bread with chicken, bread with cheese and others. She has a great gift and is well-known for being a woman with the tastiest dishes where she works. She has a small snack bar located in a well-known university center in the city that’s one of the busiest in the zone since her customers come by every day to enjoy the delicious lunches she prepares with so much dedication and love.

She’s been doing this work for two years with help from some family members. What she likes best about the work is preparing her dishes, to enjoy the aromas and flavors and to know that her faithful customers enjoy every meal she offers. She hopes to continue with her activity and to equip it with some utensils.

On this occasion she will ask for 2,000 soles and she’s very happy for the financial support she’ll get to continue with her work. She will use the requested money to buy ingredients like bread, meat, condiments, rice, oil and vegetables she uses daily to prepare her meals.
