Rosalia's story

Rosalia is a 32-year-old woman who lives in Paraíso in Pocosol. She is married and has a daughter. For ten years she has made a living making very good quality cheese. She learned the business as a small girl with her mother and she currently does it with her husband who is also in the business. They travel every day on a motorcycle to their place of work located 1 km from their home.

The business makes Rosalia feel very proud and gives her great personal satisfaction as it is her own business. With the income she receives, thanks to the business, she and her husband are able to cover the daily necessities that come up daily for them and her daughter.

She wants to get this loan to buy two calves because with the purchase of these animal she hopes to increase her milk and cheese production by 30 percent. Right now she sells her product to a customer who then distributes it, but Rosalia confides that with the money from this loan she can put her name on her product and sell it directly to customers in the community and in nearby places.

She hopes to increase her profits to ensure the necessities of her family as well as her customers.
