He has been farming since he was young, growing corn and beans, and also doing building work. 27 years ago he managed to set up his own furniture-making workshop where he makes doors, windows, kitchen cabinets, tables, chairs, wardrobes, etc. His workshop is located in his home and his customers come from his community.

Cecilio has decided to take out a loan for 25,000 lempiras to buy wood, varnish, paints and other materials for making some pieces of furniture that he needs to finish. His goal is to save for his future, his son and his family.

Cecilio, tiene 49 años de edad, es soltero, tiene 5 hijos, vive con su hijo, nuera y dos nietos en una aldea del municipio de Intibucá. Desde joven se dedico a la agricultura al cultivo de maíz y frijoles y a la albañilería y hace 27 años logro establecer su propio taller de ebanistería donde elabora puertas, ventanas, muebles de cocina, mesas, sillas, roperos etc. El taller lo tiene en su casa y sus clientes son de la comunidad. El ha decidido por un préstamo de 25,000 Lempiras para comprar madera, barniz, pinturas y otros materiales para la fabricación de muebles que tiene pendientes por terminar. Su meta es ahorrar para su futuro hijo y su familia.
