Eleuterio's story

Mr. Eleuterio is 29 years old and he works in agriculture planting various vegetables, as well as potatoes, yucca, and corn on his parcel of land that is in the community of Surutu. This loan is his first in a sequence with this institution. Mr. Eleuterio will use this loan to purchase seeds to plant rice, which means the land needs to be prepared. His reason for asking for this loan is to obtain the resources for planting his crop and to be able to live. Mr. Eleuterio has faced challenges in his business such as inclement weather, which on many occasions has ruined the harvest. He will use the the benefits from the loan to improve the quality of life of his clientele as well as his family, because he is in charge of all the household expenses. He is a responsible and hard working person who feels grateful for the support the institution has given him, once he harvests his crops he will sell them in a market in his community, directly from producer to consumer.
