Julia's story

Julia, 38 years old, is married to Israel who works in transportation. He is the father of her 5 children whom she loves very much. They live comfortably together in their own home.

Julia sells different kinds of various flavored candy in the morning and she put a table in front of her home where she attends to her customers in a friendly and cordial manner. She began more than 2 years ago with her own capital from her savings. She considers her business very profitable because of the profit it generates and because she is the only one in the area.

Before she began her business, she had the desire to be a productive person and earn her own income and not to depend completely on her husband and to help provide for the household expenses. She also wanted to be at home and care for her young children.

This will be her 5th loan cycle with Kiva and she is happy knowing that she can continue counting on the necessary financial support to accomplish her plans, and she agrees to make her payments punctually.

With the requested amount of 300 soles she will buy sweets for her business such as cookies, caramels, gum, and more.
