A loan of $2,650 helped a member to purchase food items to sell.

Echo Des Anges De Ouanaminthe Group's story

Denise is the coordinator of her group Echo des Anges. She is married and has two children. She lives in northeastern Haiti, where electricity is rare and water is very limited.

Denise has been running her business selling grocery items for the last five years. Before this business, she used to sell all sorts of things. She hopes that this loan will help her to expand her business.

Other members of the group have need of a loan for such businesses as selling cosmetics, carbonated beverages, etc. She says that her main challenge is to become a bigger merchant in the area. Her main goal is to have a bigger business, which will facilitate the construction of a bigger house with loans from Esperanza Int.

In this group: Denise, Junie, Amalia, Rosecarline, Elismond, Myrlande, Alius, Marieange, Nanouse, Nardia, Clemencia, Leger, Isemene*, Otancia*
