Mahammad's story

Mahammad is 34 years old, married and has a one son and one daughter. He is an IDP (internally displaced person) and lives with his wife and children in the Bilasuvar IDP Settlement. He is a Fuzuli refugee. For 10 years, he has been raising cattle and selling their milk. Milk is very popular drink among local people; they prepare different products such as yogurt and cheese. Milk products are in high demand because of their health benefits.
Mahammad earns an income of 120 AZN from this business. His wife is helping him run the business. Regardless of difficulties in raising cattle, Mahammad is a very positive man and doing this business with heart. He has applied for loan of 1900 AZN from Aqroinvest in order to buy more calves. He has plans to expand the business and to meet the high demand potential for milk in the market. This is his sixth loan and he has a good loan repayment history.
