José Carlos's story

José, 62, is in a relationship and has a daughter. He has worked in agriculture since he was 16, which he learned from his grandparents. Before that he studied.

He needs to travel approximately two hours from his house to buy agricultural supplies.

The loan from Fundación Campo will buy fertilizer, pesticides, herbicides, sorghum and corn seed, it will pay for the rent of the land and pay for the labor to cultivate the 7,000 square meters.

By cultivating corn he ensures there will be food for his family. He will feed his cows the sorghum to produce milk and fatten them up to sell them.

His dream is to give his daughter an education to be a professional.
