A loan of $750 helped to buy farm supplies and to pay labor costs.

German's story

German, 37, has a spouse and five children. He’s been working in agriculture for 17 years; his parents taught him. He used to just be a student. To buy supplies he must travel to the city and it takes him about two hours so because of that he must rise very early.

The loan he’s asking Fundación Campo for is to buy manure, fertilizer, pesticide and herbicide as well as to pay labor costs to grow 14,000 square meters of jute. With this investment he hopes the jute harvest will be very good and to sell it at a high price so that the income will help him cover household expenses and to be able to provide schooling for his five children.
