Eduardo Edgar's story

Eduardo’s a 42-year-old single man living in the city of Nazca. He’s a very humble, hardworking, enthusiastic man who focuses all his efforts into getting ahead. Sadly, due to the lack of economic resources and the need to go to work while still very young to help his parents, Eduardo was unable to study a professional career. In his free moments he likes to spend some time reading and sometimes cooks delicious fried pork to share with his family and friends.

On his own initiative and with much effort and dedication, Eduardo works in agriculture. He has a small parcel of leased land where he grows oranges. He works every day doing the field chores and can work for about 8 hours daily. He feels good doing his work and thinks that he does well because of his experience and the kind way he treats others.

Eduardo is very grateful to Kiva lenders because thanks to the support provided he will be able to cover the cost of buying manure and pesticide so he can keep his crop in better conditions thus insuring a good harvest. He will continue working and striving to reach his great dream of owning a house.
