Doña María, tiene 5 años de tener su propio negocio de venta de tortillas y obtiene otros ingresos con la recolecta de plásticos, hierro, cobre y otros artículos de reciclaje para vender en una empresa recicladora. Ha decidido solicitar un segundo préstamo en ODEF por 17,500 lempiras para comprar harina de maíz para elaborar tortillas y compra de artículos en mal estado para reventa. Su meta es incrementar la producción de tortillas y continuar con el negocio de compra y venta de artículos de reciclaje, para poder obtener ingresos que le permitan mejorar su vivienda y las condiciones de vida.
