A loan of $325 helped to buy rice, sugar and flour from the market at lower rates.

Sajida's story

Sajida is a 30-year-old married lady who has been running a small general store in her community for many years. She offers a variety of grocery items at reasonable prices and has retained many customers who regularly shop at her store. Sajida makes enough to provide for her family.

To make her store fully stocked she requested a loan for PKR 30,000, which she will use to buy rice, sugar and flour from the market at lower rates. In this way she will be able to meet the increasing demand consistently. She is in her 6th loan cycle with a good repayment history. Sajida wishes to use part of her revenues to increase her business capital.
