Elena is 32 years old and is in a domestic partnership. She has six children and three of them attend school. Elena did not have the opportunity to go to school, and makes a living in animal husbandry, buying chickens to fatten up and sell. She started this business when she needed to help her family, and she currently has ten years' experience.

She has formed a group to request a loan, and she will use her portion to buy chickens to fatten up, as well as concentrate feed for them.

Elena wishes to have a farm for chickens and laying hens in the near future. The other members of her group make a living in animal farming and crafts.
