A loan helped to buy corn, lime powder, and firewood for her business.

Maritza Isabel's story

Maritza is a very hard-working and responsible person. She lives with her two children in a community in the southern part of Honduras. She has had her business of making and selling tortillas for 15 years.

Maritza sells every day at the municipal market. She is requesting the loan to buy more raw materials like corn, lime powder, and firewood that she needs to continue making her product.

Maritza hopes, thanks to the loan, to be able to have the supplies needed that will allow her to continue with her business. This way she will continue making her products. Additionally, she hopes to have an increase in sales that will allow her to improve her quality of life and that of her family.

In the future Maritza hopes to make her business grow and to continue supporting her family. This way her children will continue their education and will become good people with greater life opportunities.
