Selsa’s from the village of Pacorral in the municipality of Tecpan. She’s 53-years-old and works hand weaving traditional textiles and raising animals. She’s been doing this for years since it’s her means of earning a living to get ahead with her family. Her husband works as a day laborer and thanks to his and her entire family’s support she’s managed to move her family forward. Her dream is to expand her business more to earn higher profits to improve her quality of life. She’s asking for the loan to buy raw materials to manufacture the traditional textiles.
