Felipa's story

50-year-old Felipa is a single mother. She has four children and lives with one of them in a suburban neighborhood of San Pedro Sula. For 14 years, Felipa has been selling milk-based smoothies made with fruit such as melon, watermelon, banana, apple and pineapple, and cereals. Her business is located in her home. She makes additional income through making clothes and nursing.

Felipa is requesting a loan for 6,000 lempira to buy supplies such as fruit and cereals for making her smoothies. She will also buy natural medicines to sell. Her plan is to expand her business premises so that she can provide her customers with a better service.
