A loan of $425 helped to purchase motor bike spare parts, such as chains, wheels, tires, head lights, race cables and brake cables for her husband's shop.


Nasreen's story

Nasreen is a 48-year-old married woman. She is a mother of five children. She lives in the rural area of Lahore, Pakistan. She belongs to a middle class family. Her husband is the only person earning in the family. He owns a spare parts shop which is the only source of income for his family. His monthly income is inadequate to meet the household needs.

Currently, he needs to purchase spare parts for motor bikes such as chains, wheels, tires, head lights, race cables, brake cables etc for his shop. However due to the lack of cash he finds it difficult.

Therefore, Nasreen has requested a loan from Kiva's partner BRAC Pakistan to purchase the things that are needed in her husband's business. She hopes that the loan will be helpful for her husband. She wants to provide quality education to her children. She is very thankful to Kiva and BRAC Pakistan.
