Richard's story

Richard is a 32-year-old married man with five children who owns a house in Kyenjojo, Uganda. For six years, he has been running a retail shop, which he started with capital of 500,000 Ugandan shillings. He has now built up his capital. He experiences hardships from competition and bad debtors. His vision is of a wholesale business, plus educating his children. Richard intends to use the loan to buy soap, beers, soda, sugar and rice to sell.
