Narine is 41 years old and lives with her husband and parents close to Kapan city. Narine graduated from Kapan State Medical College and for more than 10 years has worked as a nurse in Kapan hospital. Narine with her husband is also engaged in an agricultural business. Narine has a lot of chickens and a plot of land where she grows vegetables and fruits. Narine and her husband sell their products in Kapan markets. Narine is very happy that she is a nurse in the hospital and does her work with pleasure but, at the same time, the salary is too low. That’s why she engaged in the agricultural business which is more profitable and allows her to support her family.
Narine needs a loan of 600.000 Armenian drams to buy 30 young chickens and seedlings for her garden. She is counting on support from Kiva lenders.
