The group known as "Jovenes Emprendedores" (Enterprising Youth) are in their fifth loan cycle in the youth group program. They are four young people who came together so that they could work jointly, and generate a bit of of income to be able to help their families and feel useful.

Karina is one of the members and is the chair of the group. She sells food with her mom and also goes to school. Through her effort to succeed, she has managed to improve her quality of life. With her income from her street vending, she has paid for her expenses and her studies.

She receives on-going assistance, attends the group meetings, works supportively with her co-members, and maintains a good payment record with her group. They have the hope of someday being successful professionals.

Karen is requesting this loan to increase her sales, as she needs meat, vegetables, flour, eggs and other items to enable her to keep making and selling her meals.

El grupo denominado Jovenes Emprendedores está en su ciclo número 5 del programa de comité de jóvenes. Son 4 jóvenes que se unieron para poder trabajar juntos, generar un poco de ingresos para poder ayudar a su familia, y así sentirse útiles.
Karina es una de las integrantes, ella es presidenta la presidenta del grupo se dedica a la venta de comidas conjuntamente con su mama, y también estudia. Por medio de su esfuerzo por salir adelante ella logró mejorar su calidad de vida. Ella tiene con su ingreso de su venta ambulante , solventa su gasto y su estudio , recibe asistencia permanente , asiste a reuniones de su comité, trabaja solidariamente con sus compañeros y mantiene buen pago con su grupo. Tienen la esperanza de ser el día de mañana grandes profesionales.
Karina solicita este crédito para aumentar su venta, ya que necesita carne, verduras, harina, huevo y demás, con lo que podrá seguir haciendo sus comidas y vendiendo.

This loan is designed for young people aged 15 to 25 whose families are living in poverty and who wish to start a new business or improve an existing business. As part of its Youth Entrepreneurship program, Fundación Paraguaya’s staff members offer mentorship, as well as training courses and workshops in finance and business administration. Borrowers also receive standard benefits like health coverage and life insurance. This type of loan is not offered by most other financial institutions in Paraguay. Young borrowers are often considered to be too risky because they lack prior credit history or business experience.
