A loan of $575 helped to buy cement and bricks.

Roseli's story

Roseli, 29, is married and lives with her husband and son in her own house. Her main activity is providing childcare services. She’s been working as such for two years.

She started out seeking extra income to improve her family’s quality of life and to improve her home’s infrastructure since that’s where she cares for the children she has in her care. At first, she had many difficulties because she did not have an appropriate place to carry out her activity. But thanks to God and to her family’s support, she moved ahead and overcame all the difficulties that arose. With the extra income she earns and the profits she gets from selling cheese, a complimentary activity she does on weekends, she hopes to improve her house’s infrastructure in order to provide better service.

This is her fist Kiva loan and she’s very grateful for the opportunity she’s getting to access a line of credit that will be very useful for her business. On this occasion, she’ll request 1,500 soles to improve the infrastructure of her house with cement and bricks.
