Flor's story

Flor, age 60, is the single mother of her 20 year old son with whom she lives in her own house. Flor sells food products in the store that is located in her house. She has had the business for eight years. She likes it a lot. She does not have to leave home a lot, and she is able to help in whatever her son needs.

She is very grateful for the support of her minor son. He is always at her side to help her. Sometimes he helps tend to her customers. She now wishes to continue working a lot and to be able to start expanding and offering a greater variety of products to her customers.

This is her third loan with Kiva. She is very happy to know that she has financial support. This way she is sure to advance in her business. She pledges to make her payments punctually. She will use the requested 1,500 soles to buy products like rice, sugar, cooking oil, candy, soft drinks, and others.

She will do this in order to be able to offer her customers a greater quantity and variety.
