Juana's story

Juana, 35 years old, is an enterprising and hard-working woman, who is also kind and happy. She is married to Andrés, who works in transportation and is the father of their children ages 17, 16, 10, and 6. They live together in their own home. Juana works buy selling vegetables every day at a table beside her mother's home grocery store. This allows her to offer her products to the customers of the store where these products aren't sold. She has been working in this business for over a year and has done so alone thus far. She likes to tend to her customers in a kind and cordial manner. Also, she earns a good income that allows her to have a job and feel productive. She believes her business is going well since she is able to sell all her products.

This will be her first loan with Kiva. She is requesting this financial aid to continue working toward her goals. With the amount of 500 nuevo soles that she has requested, Juana will buy more vegetables such as lettuce, tomatoes, lemons, and more.
