A loan of $650 helped to buy cattle for developing business.

Rustam's story

This is a man with an enormous heart full of kindness and a wonderful spirit. He lives far from the city, but has had a wonderful idea, to expand his business. His name is Rustam, and he is 43 years old, married, and the father of four children. The climate in his area is great for growing crops, as well as raising livestock. For the past three years he has been raising animals, primarily small livestock, though he does have one cow. He has a large garden where he grows hay for the animals. He sells the animals after he has raised them for a number of months. He has many customers at the market. Rustam would like to expand his business but he doesn't have the necessary capital. He is asking for a 3000 somoni loan to buy 6 head of small livestock. With the income he earns from the expansion he wants to provide his children with a good education and modern technology. He is grateful for your generosity.
