Greetings from Zimbabwe! This is 40-year-old Laiton from Masvingo. He is married with two children, one of whom attends school. Laiton runs a grocery store business which sells sugar, mealie meal, cooking oil and soap. The business has been in operation for ten years. Laiton says the main challenge he is facing is stiff competion from other traders.

Laiton has requested a loan of $750 to buy groceries for resale. He says the extra income generated as a result of this loan will enable him to improve his family's welfare. In the future, Laiton plans to buy properties in town.
