Orosta, aged 41, is married and the mother of two children. She lives with her husband, her son and her daughter in the Shahrituz district located in southern Tajikistan. Her husband provides taxi services. Her daughter, a high school student, helps her with the farming business. Her son is still very young; he is only 4 years old.

Orosta has been involved in animal husbandry for one year already. Every month, she buys three head of cattle, fattens them for 30 days and then resells then at a profit at the cattle market. Additionally, Orosta is also involved in sewing.

Дочь яляется ученицей средней школы и помощницей матери в хозяйственных делах, а сын маленький, ему 4 годика. Ороста занимается животноводством уже год. Она закупает каждый месяц по трех голов крупнорогатого скота, откармливает их в течение 30 дней и затем продает с наценкой на скотном рынке. Одновременно Ороста занимается и шитьём.
