A loan of $400 helped to buy supplies such as rice, sugar and milk.

Sebastian's story

Sebastián, 52, is a fighter and is not afraid of all the obstacles he finds on the way. He is married and has three children, and he works hard in order to give them a better quality of life. They all live in a house of their own.

To generate income, Sebastián buys and sells food products such as rice, sugar, milk, bread, eggs, oil and vegetables. He owns a vehicle in which he travels throughout the city offering his products even in the most remote corners, starting early in the morning.

Sebastián has had this business for five years. In the beginning, his wife helped him, but she is now working with a friend. What Sebastián likes about his job is that it leaves him time to do other activities that pop up now and then. He does well, fortunately, and he has a good customer base due to the wide assortment he offers and his good prices. He hopes to continue growing and to expand his business.

This time, Sebastián is requesting 1000 nuevos soles [PEN]. He feels grateful for the financial support he receives. He will buy supplies such as rice, sugar, milk and oil.
