A loan of $500 helped to purchase medications and get ultrasounds.

Silvia María's story

Silvia María is originally from the town of El Sauce. She is married and a mother of eight children, only one of which is currently in her charge and attending university. On a teacher's salary, Silvia has made many sacrifices in order for her daughter to get a higher education. She has been working as a teacher in a local school for over twenty years and is currently teaching preschool because she enjoys working with children at that level. She has lots of patience and dedication.

She currently needs a loan because she has had some health issues. That is why she came to Ceprodel to request a loan, in order to buy medications and get some ultrasounds done.

She is doing this in hopes to improve her health so that she can continue giving her work and her family her best, because she is very dependent on her salary in order to provide for her family. Her great dream is for her daughter to graduate from college.

She is grateful to Kiva and Ceprodel for the support they have given her, because these loans mean a lot to people with limited resources. She hopes to continue receiving this support, and for that she will be eternally grateful.
