A loan of $575 helped to buy materials, elastic, threads and more.

Neida's story

Neida is 44 years old and is married with three children, aged 26, 23 and 18 years old. They live with Neida in her own home. Neida makes a living producing clothing items for men, women and children. She patiently sews clothing that her customers order and she often produces her own creations. She puts some of her own works up for sale in a small space in her home. Neida has been doing this work for over 15 years and has always worked alone. She tells us that she has never had a complaint from a customer and that she always finds a way to please them, so that they leave happy. What Neida likes about her work is that she can express herself through the designs that she is inspired to create. She also likes how easy she finds it to create something new and that this has made her one of the best seamstresses in town. Neida always feels useful and hopes to build a much bigger sewing workshop in the near future and create a space just for selling her creations. On this occasion Neida is applying for 1500 Nuevo Soles and is very happy to know that she will have financial support to progress with her business. She also promises, once again, to make her repayments on time. With this loan, Neida will buy materials, threads, elastic, buttons, zips and other accessories that are necessary for making certain clothing items that she will put up for sale.
