A loan of $1,500 helped a member to buy eggs, bananas, melons, and watermelons for his business.

G.s Ciudad Nueva Group's story

Juan is a very enterprising young man. He lives with his mother and siblings in a community in southern Honduras. His business is selling eggs and bananas out of his vehicle. He has been doing this for over seven years.

Juan needs this loan in order to buy eggs, bananas, melons, and watermelons. He hopes to increase sales with this loan, since he will have more products to offer his daily customers. This will allow him to cover his needs. Juan, as well as his fellow group members, expects his financial situation to improve as a result of this investment.

In a few years, Juan would like his business to have become the largest and most well-known is the area, so that he can continue supporting his family and help them become positive members of society.

Fermín's business is selling bread. He has been doing it for eight years. Filomena's business is selling tortillas and firewood. She has been doing it for ten years.
