Keyli's story

Keylin Marilú, 26 years old, is a single mother who has three children who depend on her. She lives in the community of San Lorenzo, a valley in southern Honduras. She has her own home. For the past year, Keylin Marilú has made her living selling groceries, soft drinks and snacks. She is a woman who works hard every day, from Monday to Sunday, with the goal of getting her family ahead, since she has three young children whom she supports with food and education. Nevertheless, she is an enterprising woman who has two businesses -- a small grocery store and the sale of snacks. Her customers appreciate her for her courage and good service when she is attending to them. Keylin Marilú is applying for a loan to buy milk, cheese, butter, rice, sugar, coffee, bread, eggs, water, flour, chips, soft drinks, etc. With the support of this loan, she hopes to improve her business, and thus have her earnings. Keylin Marilú's dream is to plaster her house.
