Juan Manuel's story

Juan Manuel, 29 years old, is single and has one son who depends on him. He lives with his siblings in a community of San Lorenzo, a valley in southern Honduras. Juan Manuel does not have his own house and for two years, has been making a living selling groceries, soft drinks and detergents. His customers prefer him for his good service and the accessibility of his business. Juan is an entrepreneur with desires to get ahead and improve his living conditions. He is applying for this loan to buy cement, bricks, bars, gravel, etc. to improve his housing since he is finishing construction of a sink and bathroom, and needs the money for the construction of the sink, bathroom and roof. With the support of this loan, Juan hopes to fulfill his need to construct his bathroom, that he so needs. He is happy for the support to his business and now for the improvement to his housing. His dream is to have his own home.
