Annabel's story

Annabel does farming in the Kangundo area. She rears dairy cows as well as plants: cash crops such maize, beans and vegetables for sale. She is 32 years old, married, and has two children. This is her second loan and she plans use the loan amount to buy feed for her dairy cows. She also plans to buy farm inputs such as fertilizer and seeds for planting in her farm. From the profits that she will generate from the sale of milk and the farm produce, she will pay school fees for her children. She hopes to expand her farming business by buying more dairy cows and planting more cash crops. Hence, she will make more income and be able to provide for the needs of her family.
