Chaplian's story

Chaplian is a 35-year-old business man who lives in Yei. He is married with five children between the age of three and 13. All of his children go to school.

Chaplian sells animals and has been in business for 10 years, he has no employees. Chaplian heard about Finance Sudan through promotions by the loan officers. He is receiving a loan of 3000 South Sudanese Pounds (SSP) to purchase goats and other animals to resell.

Apart from this business, Chaplian has no other source of income. In five years, Chaplian would like to expand his business and open other branches.
His major challenges include high market prices and high transportation costs.

Chaplian says he is happy because of the loans given by Finance Sudan through the help of Kiva.
