A loan of $250 helped to pay for different kinds of towels and products for his food stall.

Allan's story

This is Allan, 46, resident of Intramuros, Manila, Philippines. He is married to Erlinda, a vendor, and is a father to his children. He, together with his wife, manages their household while operating his business. At this time, he is working hard to continually provide income for their everyday expenses.

Allan sells different towels. He has colored towels, designed towels, borlas towels and others. He also has a mini food stall where he sells coffee and sandwiches. He earns a minimum of 500 Philippine Pesos (PHP) in sales every day.

To help him continue operations of his business, he is requesting a PHP 10,000 loan. He will be utilizing the loan to buy different kinds of towels and products for his food stall.

Allan hopes that his business will grow even more. He meets up with his co-fellowship members to share stories of his work every week and where he can also draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God he studies.

* All CCT community partners / clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and pay Micro Finance loans.
