Fifteen years ago, Gudelia decided to sell beer and soda in her house because there were few stores close by. Actually, however, there were soon various bodegas around; consequently, she decided to engage in a parallel activity. It was this way that her daughter proposed the idea of selling clothing and shoes by request. Gudelia has been doing this for four years. Her clients are her friends and the acquaintances of her daughter and husband. Gudelia also sells cosmetics through a catalogue. The loan for which she has asked is for buying more clothing to offer her clients. She would like to have a place in the market and sell her products there.

Translated from the Spanish by Susanna Heinz, Kiva Volunteer.
