A loan of $300 helped to buy supplies and pay for labor.

Felix Antonio's story

Felix is 46 years old and a farmer. He is originally froM La Joya, outside or Boaco. He is the father of six children and only one son attends the fourth grade.

He learned this trade when he was a boy and his father taught him to work the land, clean it, and care for animals. He started working on his own when he married and began raising corn and beans. He now does this with the help of his two oldest sons and a helper. He needs this loan So he can buy compost, fertilizer, and pay for labor to plant corn and beans. He expects to have a good product of excellent quality and high yield. Once he repays the loan, he wants to buy a steer to invest in raising livestock. This is one of the activities that generates extra income and it will help him improve his farm little by little so he can take advantage of the grassland he has.
