A loan of $650 helped to buy manure, seeds and fertilizers.

Juan Antonio's story

Juan has worked in agriculture for a number of years now. His work has given him the ability and knowledge necessary to raise his crops, especially his principal crop, which is corn. When he harvests his crop, he stores it in granaries as shown in the photograph. He later sells it to wholesalers of basic grains located near his home. He uses the profits from selling his crops to help with his family’s expenses. He lives with his wife and three children.

Juan is requesting a loan to buy agricultural inputs for his crops, such as manure, seeds and fertilizers. With this loan he hopes to improve his profits and therefore help even more with his household expenses.
