Rocio's story

Rocío, age 33, is a kind and very enthusiastic woman. She is married to Robinson, and he is the father of their three children, ages 13, 9, and 6. They are temporarily living in her mother-in-law’s house. Rocío sells food products. She opens her doors very early every day. She cleans and arranges each one of the products that she offers to her clientele. She waits upon her customers with much enthusiasm and great cordiality. She sells basic needs products like rice, bread, eggs, cooking oil, tea, coffee, milk, diverse vegetables or regional products like bananas, potatoes, and fruits, among others. She has been in this business for five years. In addition to having a food store, she occasionally sells breakfasts and lunches at buildings close to her home. She will now request 2,200 soles. She is very happy about the financial support provided to her in order to get ahead with her work. She pledges to make all of her payments punctually. She will use the requested loan to buy food products like rice, sugar, cooking oil, vegetables, milk, and others.
