A loan of $775 helped to purchase fabrics, elastic, threads, molds and other items.

Juana's story

Juana is a 50-year-old single mother of a daughter, whom she lives with in her own home. Juana makes a living sewing clothes and is responsible for making her own designs. She also alters other items her customers bring in because they are confident she will do a good job. She has a small workshop in her home where she carries out all of her work. She started out 15 years ago doing simple jobs, and the experience she has gained has allowed her to create more complex garments with customized details. She works alone and is happy to do what she loves. The business is going very well, since she has a lot of customers who often seek her out. She is requesting a loan, and she is grateful for the opportunity you are providing so she can carry out her business plans. With the money, she plans to purchase materials like fabrics, threads, elastic and molds to increase her output.
