A loan of $1,300 helped a member to buy cheese and curds in bulk.

Los Rincones Group's story

This group consists of three enterprising members. One of them is Lideth, a 35-year-old woman who is in a relationship. She has been selling cheese and curds for seven years. Lideth previously sold fresh fruit. She has two children who are studying, but they help with her business in their spare time. Lideth has been a client of ADIM for 13 years. With the income she generated from her business as a result of acquiring the loans, Lideth has been able to invest in her children’s education. Her products are purchased wholesale in Rama, an area that is on the Atlantic side of the country. She then distributes her goods to the merchants at a market in Masaya. Another achievement to consider is her expansion of products. By widening her variety, she has grown her customer base at the market and her income has increased. Lideth’s loan will be invested in the purchase of cheese in bulk, as well as curds.

Angela is 39 years old and has a grocery business in her home. Noelia is 20 years old and has a business of selling chicken.
