Djamilya's story

Djamilya is 39 years old and is raising three daughters. In order to support her family she grows crops for sale. She started her farm in 2002 with 20,000 som. Due to her diligence Djamilya now makes 10,000 som (KGS) monthly profits by selling her produce. In order to further develop her business Djamilya has turned to micro-finance bank "Bai-Tushum and partners" for a loan of 100,000 som (KGS). She will use this loan to purchase fertilizer and bean seeds. Djamilya plans to invest the profits from this loan back into her business so that she can pay for her daughters' education in the future.
