A loan of $3,000 helped to pay for the renovation of agro machinery.

Qnarik's story

Qnarik is from a small village in the Shirak region, which is one of the oldest and most beautiful regions of Armenia. Locals here are mostly involved in cattle breeding and some limited land cultivation.

Qnarik keeps livestock and cultivates wheat. Her livestock currently includes 60 chickens, 10 bulls, 5 cows, 5 colonies of bees and 2 pigs. A very hardworking woman, she and her husband work hard to sustain their family of six consisting of Qnarik herself, her husband, grandparents and two sons, both of whom serve in the army.

The income that Qnarik and her husband earn from cattle breeding is hardly enough to cover the family's daily costs, and additional income is vital for them. Because they own old agro machinery that needs to be renovated, she has requested this loan which will result in their work being more effective.

Qnarik does her best to save money to ensure a better life for her sons.
