Ram's Group's story

Ram is the 61-year-old widowed mother of two children, who earns a living farming rice on one hectare of farmland. She has been in this agribusiness for 30 years, and the business currently earns her about 25,000 KHR per day to feed the family. Ram’s Group consists of two members who live in the same village, and this is her fourth loan cycle with VisionFund. She wisely and successfully used her loans from VisionFund to improve her support of her family’s living and business expenses. Now Ram is leading her group to apply for a loan, and she will use her share to spend on labor to in plow the field. She hopes to increase her family’s income from her current business to make a better living.
