Sophal is 51 years old. She is married and resides with four children in Kampong Speu Province, Cambodia. She has been selling rope for more than three years, earning approximately 3 USD daily. Sophal's husband runs a cattle business and earns about 5 USD per day. Three of her children are employed. They make an income of 10 USD each day.
In order to improve her family’s livelihood, Sophal is requesting a 400 USD loan to purchase a stud bull to run their crossbreed service. Her loan will help to generate more income to support her family. In the future, Sophal would like to add more capital to expand her business and help her youngest child earn a bachelors degree.
