Da is 50 years old. She is married and resides with nine children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. She has been selling vegetables for more than four years, earning approximately 3 USD daily. Da's husband is a motor taxi driver who makes an income of 5 USD each day. Two of her children are employed in garment factory. They earn about 6 USD per day.
In order to improve her business, Da is requesting a 1,500 USD loan to purchase vegetables, chicken, duck and fish to sell. Expanding her inventory will generate more income to support her family. In the future, Da would like to purchase a store in the market to store her inventory. She would also like to help her children earn bachelors degrees and she plans to build a new bigger house.
