A loan of $1,250 helped a member to buy three piglets.

Sombang Lestari Group's story

Three years after joining the pig breeder program through a MUK pig loan, Ni Kadek feels greatly helped by the productive capital loan from MUK. Due to the location of her residence in the countryside with her husband and two children, the capital for business development of pigs is needed to support the family's economy.

For the current period, Ni Kadek is planning to buy three piglets for fattening with a price 400,000 IDR per head. She will prepare the feed and she hopes the price of feed will not rise again.

During the five months of fattening, Ni Kadek hopes that no bad things will happen to her three pigs so that the profits from the sales will be more than in the previous period. Ni Kadek, wearing a brown t-shirt, is fourth from the left.
